About our organic wool

When you purchase any WLH wool product or bulk wool fibers, you can rest assured you're receiving a high-quality product you can trust. Grown in New Zealand from free-range, pasture-fed sheep, then processed right here in the USA, all of our wool is scoured using only gentle NPEO-free detergents without bleach. It then goes through a rigorous quality control process to ensure its integrity.

Our GOTS certified organic wool pillows are naturally antimicrobial and dust mite resistant, and require no flame retardant chemical treatments to be safe. Wool is comfortable in the summer and winter, thanks to its natural insulative properties.

• We offer our pillows in three different levels of firmness: soft, medium, and firm. 
• Many pillows need to be replaced after 6-12 months due to a loss in firmness; if you have a pillow with a zipper and you have the fibers that you purchased or removed, you can add them back over time to maintain your preferred level of comfort. 
• We also sell our fibers in various weights so you can keep your pillows at the right firmness for years to come.  For fiber storage, we recommend you recycle the bag you received your pillows in and store your fibers there, ideally in a cool and dry location.

How long does the wool smell last?

The natural scent of the wool could last a couple of days to a couple of weeks depending on the sensitivity of the person.

Cleaning Your Pillows

We always recommend spot cleaning our pillows — never saturate them with any liquid. We always recommend to our customers that they add one of our protective pillow covers, to ensure spills never get out of hand.

To spot clean, we suggest a mild solution of three parts water to one part vinegar in a spray bottle, but for particularly stubborn spills, a mild detergent is perfectly fine to add to the bottle as well.

Always ensure your pillow is thoroughly dried after a spot cleaning, either by using a hair dryer or placing it in the sun to air out.
